The 59th International Folklore Festival was held in Zagreb

The 59th International Folklore Festival, one of the most important cultural events in Croatia, took place in Zagreb.

This year’s festival was dedicated to the 1,100th anniversary of the Kingdom of Croatia.

The festival was officially opened by folklore groups from Georgia, Italy, Bulgaria, France, North Macedonia, Chile and Costa Rica.

The Georgian festival was presented by the Ozurgeti Folk Ensemble “Shvidkatsa” Trio.
